About DJ Nack

DJ Nack's love for music started at the early age of 10. Although he was not fortunate to play at such a young age, he was always determined to listen to different styles of music on the radio.  His career as a DJ actually began in 2011 at a friend’s house in Brooklyn. At first he thought being a DJ was a piece of cake with just a touch of a button but later realized that being a DJ is more than just pushing buttons. 

With passion running through his veins and an eagerness to learn the art-form of DJing, he enrolled into the DJ Certification Program at the world renowned Scratch DJ Academy in New York City. There he learned the fundamentals of being a dj, the business side of the art-form, and what it takes to really succeed in this industry. After completing the certification program at Scratch, he knew he had built a strong foundation to be successful in the industry and knew it was time to get out there and pursue his career.

DJ Nack started making a name for himself by performing opening sets at venues such as The Underwater Lounge and The Social Butterfly in Brooklyn, NY. This eventually led to a weekly residency at The Social Butterfly on Friday nights hosting "Ladies Night" for the entertainment company The Ballers Crew.  More recently, DJ Nack moved to Houston, TX where he still continues to make a name for himself in the Lone Star State.
